City management is in the hands of the public authorities; however, the current trend is towards citizen actors and co responsible for their city. City halls should involve citizens in the development of their city, who want a transparent and open management of their municipality that create links.

Think of bringing out all the talents of cities through a competition open to all the best citizen ideas to improve the quality of life. Self-financing the implementation of the best ideas through local actors.
Create
Create an internet platform by town hall that allows the citizen to inform in real time of any problems (roads, signage, damaged infrastructure, waste ...). Embellish cities through initiatives that include all citizens and promote the emergence of initiatives by collecting good ideas to implement.
Transform
Transform the all-connected approach by fostering real contact through meetings of all ages on a specific topic to keep the link between generations and create enthusiasm. Invlve all local organizations in the development of the city through different initiatives (local currencies, local purchases ...).

An island is a unity in itself but isolated from the continent. It must therefore invent itself as a model of sustainable development. Raise awareness among all citizens, local actors and organizations to keep their island clean through a new economic and environmental model.

Think about drawing up a charter of good conduct for industrialists, farmers, citizens and tourists in order to respect the eco system. Prohibit any non-recyclable pollutant (plastics, chemicals, pesticides ...) by involving local stakeholders. Consider sustainable seawater desalinization.

Create a code of good conduct through an ethical and eco-friendly tourist information platform whose rules are disseminated through travel agents, airlines, airports, hotels and apartment rentals in order to hold tourists accountable before their arrival (save drinking water, do not smoke on beaches and tourist sites, recycling of waste ...).

Transform the mentalities of local economic actors on the need to take into account respect for the environment for the sustainability and survival of the islands. Limit mass tourism to respect local heritage and colors.

How to make the cities of a region interact in order to benefit from their creativity, to highlight it and to spread it.
